The Occupational Health and Safety Act  85 of 1993 requires that all employees be made aware of all hazards and risks they are exposed to at work. 

Furthermore Section 8(2) (e) of the Act requires that employers provide information, instruction, training and supervision. This should be specific to the risks and hazard identified and shared with your employees.
