We have vast experience operating in Cape Town and are a preferred supplier for such premier locations as the V&A Waterfront. We have recently expanded our area of operation to include Johannesburg.

We know that security staff are the public face of an event, and are often required to manage a variety of requests and incidents with the utmost diplomacy and the least possible disruption to the event.


Who we are

EventSafe was founded by George Skazikis, who has been in the security industry since 1989. He founded Eventsec in 1996 to provide security for the Baxter Theatre and for events such as the launch of eTV, the opening of Planet Hollywood, the launch of Virgin Atlantic, the Getaway Show, Homemakers Faire, Computer Faire, J&B Met after party and all Ajax Cape Town home matches. He then sold Eventsec in 2001 and moved to the UK to gain experience in the European market. On his return in 2004, George co-founded Amanzi Blue Event Staffing Solutions - now a market leader in the event staffing industry.

EventSafe was soon born when George saw a need in the events industry for a security company supplying more than just security guards. Excellent training ensures that EventSafe staff can offer a better, more effective service to clients. There was also a natural progression to offering static guarding services alongside the event offering.

Our people
